SIS changing to News Envoys South soon

SizingUpTheSouth.com is changing its name to NewsEnvoysSouth.com coming soon. Our definition of this envoy is a group of legitimate and highly respected messengers or representatives (journalists/newsrooms) who are recognized as following professional, ethical values in their legitimate journalism profession. We follow the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics for who we select to cover in this news website and to guide us within our editorial policy.

The coverage of these news envoys and its members, whether it is online, broadcast, in physical print, or collegiate, is the goal of NewsEnvoysSouth.com. SizingUpTheSouth.com’s website is now down because of lack of funding to support the site but is seeking funding to reintroduce this site that supports legitimate journalists and newsrooms who work and serve the southern states of the U.S.

When NewsEnvoysSouth.com is launched, you will continue to see title Sizing Up The South, but as a column/commentary on the site.

NewsEnvoysSouth covers the news gatherers who work in the southern states of the United States of America. These states include Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

NewsEnvoysSouth is in the process of applying for a nonprofit status 501(c) status.
